No "small" feat as you can see by the square footage here!

Acting as a general contractor in building your own home is no small feat. It can be difficult to deal with contractors who don't take the time to see the vision that you are looking for. Chris initially came highly recommended to us by another contractor.  He came and gave us a project estimate in a reasonable time frame.  Better yet, his schedule fit our timetable as well.  Instinct can go either way for you, and in most cases our instincts with our home were correct. 

Chris not only had the reference, he came across as trustworthy and knowledgeable. The particular situation that we were in was that we were working out of the province for a couple of weeks at a time with very little time at home. We hired Chris knowing full well that he would be at our home working unsupervised by us.  He came and set up when he said he would and also finished when he said he would. His work as you can see by the pictures of our home on his website is second to none.  The job was started by our daughter and son in law.  Our son in law became ill and could not finish the job. We believe that this is a difficult situation to step into, to complete someone else's work. We are proud to have our home displayed on his website.
